RasGas Qatar - Lowongan Kerja Engineer

RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At present, the company operates a five - train onshore facility and one sales gas train at Ras Laffan, which is located 80km north of the capital city Doha, in the State of Qatar. The Company, as part of our expansion program currently seek applications for the following positions :

Business Continuity Coordinator

Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate Business Continuity & Crisis Contingency training and exercises, ensure fallback locations, workaround systems and communication facilities are prepared to respond appropriately to any disruption.
* Contribute to systematic planning of Business Continuity, Building Evacuation Plan & Crisis Contingency for all the existing and future expansions of RasGas facilities;
* Assists all the critical business units with development of risk management and business impact analysis.
* Provides guidance to and coordinates the efforts of staff members in the development of recovery procedures for key areas of the company.
* Recommends recovery strategies and solutions.
* Develops and facilitates exercises to validate the business continuity strategy, assumptions, activities, and procedures specified in the business continuity plan against likely interruption scenarios.
* Reports results from validation exercises, identifying opportunities for continuous improvements.
* Establishes disaster recovery testing methodologies; plans and coordinates the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional areas.
* Assures that recovery procedures are effective for the restoration of key firm resources and for the resumption of critical business processes.
* Provides firm-wide business continuity program visibility and awareness so as to convey the importance of an ongoing continuity program.
* Coordinates and maintains critical contact information for internal and external
resources.
* Performs ongoing risk analysis for critical functional areas to identify points of vulnerability.
* Develops and maintains standards and procedures for disaster recovery documentation.
* Maintains a library of recovery support and business resumption procedures.
* Works with vendors of disaster recovery services and facilities; studies and recommends outside services for use during a disaster situation.
* Works with management to ensure that as new equipment, facilities, services, and systems are installed that the disaster recovery issues are addressed.
* Assists recovery support and business resumption staff during a disaster. Acts as a coordinator during emergency situations.
* Assist Head of Emergency Response Service for the development, reviewing and implementation of Business Continuity, Building Evacuation Plans & Crisis Contingency Planning.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Graduation (bachelor degree or equivalent).
* Internationally recognized Business Continuity, Disasters Recovery Management Certification. Presentation and Communication Skills Training Certification.
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years at the supervisory level in Emergency Response Services.
* Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with well developed written and
oral English ability.
* Excellent man management and possesses leadership qualities.
* Should have a good knowledge of Computer handling.

Emergency Response Coordinator

Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate Emergency Response Planning trainings and exercises, ensure RasGas emergency response procedures, teams and facilities are prepared to respond appropriately to any emergency incident to protect LIFE, Environment and company assets.
* Contribute to systematic planning of Emergency Response & Crisis Management for all the existing and future expansions of RasGas facilities
* Coordinate Emergency Response training and exercise programs.
* Assist Head of Emergency Response Service for the development, reviewing and
implementation of Emergency Response Planning.
* Contributes to communicate Emergency Response policies and procedures to all RasGas
and contractors.
* Liaises with other departments to identify and record the short and long term training requirements/ needs of employees in order to meet REMS requirements.
* Identifies and arranges suitable internal/external training courses to meet the requirements and needs of the individuals and company.
* Identifies materials, resource programs and associated costs for training needs.
* Assists in preparation and recommends the training budget accordingly.
* Reviews and co-ordinates Emergency Response Plans and follows up on training
progress.
* Develops specific training schedules for RasGas staff, contractors and mutual aid agencies. Identifies team and individual training programs to meet special or emergency requirements.
* Co-ordinates general training for new direct hires and secondees including course contents, nomination of candidates, implementation and post evaluation of candidates and courses.
* Acts as an instructor on training programs as requested.
* Keeps abreast of the latest technological developments in training tools, techniques and methodologies and incorporates these innovations as appropriate.
* Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of all internal and external courses and provides recommendations for management approval.
* Train Emergency Response teams on regular basis.
* Carries out regular inspection of emergency response centers and communication system.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Graduation (bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant fields).
* Internationally recognized Emergencies Management Certification.
* Presentation and Communication Skills Training Certification.
* Minimum 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years at the supervisory
level in Emergency Response Services.
* Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with well developed written and oral English ability.
* Excellent man management and possesses leadership qualities.
* Should have a good knowledge of Computer handling.

EMS Officer

Responsibilities:
* To provide, individually and as part of a team, quality fire and security protection and emergency response capability for all RASGAS personnel, onshore and offshore facilities and environs.
* Duties are carried out on a shift work basis in the Fire Station, emergency vehicles and all areas of the onshore and offshore facilities.
* Constant exposure to prevailing weather conditions, both day and night.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Completed High School or equivalent secondary education.
* 5 years relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.
* Mechanical and technical aptitude.
* Good written and oral English skills or equivalent to QAC level-3
* Holder of heavy duty driver's license.
* Team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* Physically fit.
* First-aid qualified.

EMS Controller

Responsibilities:
* Provide, individually and as part of a team, quality security protection and emergency response capability for all RASGAS personnel.
* Duties are carried out on a shift work basis.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Completed High School or equivalent secondary education.
* 5 years relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.
* Mechanical and technical aptitude.
* Good written and oral English skills or equivalent to QAC level-5.
* Team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* Physically fit.

Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:
To provide technical and support services relating to the inspection, testing and maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and equipment at the RasGas Plant and associated RasGas operational facilities.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Completed High Secondary education with a relevant technical qualification from a recognized institution.
* Certificate of further education within engineering discipline/ apprenticeship related to Fire Appliances and Equipment.
* A minimum of three years relevant experience in the oil and gas sector with particular knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability and attitude to work as a member of a team.
* Good written and oral communication skills in English.
* Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office applications.
* A working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
