Senior Geologists (Based in Jambi)
Reporting to our Engineering Manager
Requirements:
• Applicants shall have a degree in Geological Engineering
• Having experience at least 5 years in coal drilling, mapping and exploration.
• Proven management of an exploration program including organization of rig and mapping geologists and development of a geological database using Mincom modelling software will be required
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa, written & verbal
• Computer literacy are necessary
The position will be site based with an agreed leave roster.
This is a contract position and a competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate, with a performance bonus at the end of contract.
Safety Manager
Reporting to the President Director
Responsibilities:
• To provide strategic advice, information and assistance to Site management and employees in order to promote and maintain a healthy and safe work environment and develop a framework of safety policies, procedures and auditing.
• Develop and review policies and procedures including Safety Management System.
• Ensure adequate training and development is available regarding safe system of work, policies and procedures to enable employees to carry out their work in a safe, incident free environment.
• Provide training assistance to mangers and supervisors in the introduction and implementation of the safety management system and the supporting safety system, procedures and policies.
• Ensure accurate records of incidents, accident investigations and all legally required records are readily available on request.
• Conduct health, safety and environmental audits of all workplaces at intervals not exceeding 3 months and to assist workplaces identify areas for improvement.
• Review all accident/incident reports and confirm or recommend remedial action to be implemented.
• Ensure health and hygiene standards are established and maintained.
• Ensure first aid services and appropriate systems are in place for monitoring of employee exposure to industrial hazards, eg, noise/fumes/ hazard substances/radiation.
• Ensure accurate personnel records are kept and procedures are in place to efficiently and accurately process workers compensations claims.
Requirements:
• Recognized Safety/Engineering qualifications
• Minimum 8 years industrial experience in a combination of mining and construction industries in the similar role.
• Have experience at a Supervisory /Superintendent level.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English
• Computer literate
• Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and system oriented.
Plant Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the President Director
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with site staff to ensure plant on is maintained accordance with procedures and manufacture' s recommendations and to advise optimum levels of utilization, availability and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure employees within the workshop work in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner.
• Develop and implement preventive Maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with OEM dealers to achieve optimum performance and related costs.
• Ensure there is effective utilization of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets.
• Establish priorities for the repair of equipment in order to optimize maximum utilization of plant fleet to achieve production targets.
• Liaise with operations with recommendations of equipments failure and damage causes.
• Review mechanical repairs and services to ensure compliance with the recording requirements of plant system and procedures manual.
• Review plant costs to maintain/reduce budget on all plant items as determined by he plant rates.
• Provide Plant Department employees with the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills by recognizing and recommending training in order to achieve workplace
competencies.
Requirements:
